Your adventure begins with a scenic 1.5–2 hour Game drive (approximately 80 km) from Moshi to Arusha National Park, where rural landscapes unfold beneath the towering presence of Mount Meru. Upon arrival, you will embark on a guided game drive through the park’s remarkably diverse ecosystems, ranging from lush montane forests to open savannah. Despite its compact size, the park offers outstanding wildlife viewing opportunities, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, and a variety of primates such as blue monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and vervet monkeys. Bird enthusiasts will be captivated by the more than 400 bird species recorded here, with flamingos often gracing the shores of the Momella Lakes and African fish eagles soaring overhead.
