ITINERARY
Day 1 :
Arusha
Arrive in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a city tour or simply relax at your lodge after your journey. Arusha offers a beautiful setting with views of Mount Meru and lush surroundings, preparing you for the adventure ahead. Spend the night at a comfortable hotel, ready to depart early the next morning.
Day 2 :
Ndutu Region
After breakfast, drive to the Ndutu region in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During the calving season, the open plains become a nursery for wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, with thousands of newborns taking their first steps. This abundance of prey attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, offering thrilling game viewing. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before settling into your tented camp in Ndutu.
Day 3 :
Ndutu Region
Spend a full day exploring Ndutu’s rich habitats, from grassy plains to seasonal marshes. Witness incredible predator-prey interactions and capture unforgettable photographs of the newborn animals and their protective mothers. This is also a prime location for spotting cheetahs in action, as the open landscape provides ideal hunting grounds. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner under the African night sky.
Day 5 :
Serengeti Central
Continue your adventure in the Serengeti with another full day of game drives. Search for elusive leopards resting in the acacia trees, watch hippos wallowing in pools, and observe herds of elephants crossing the plains. The Serengeti’s vast landscapes and dramatic wildlife encounters make every moment unforgettable. Spend your final Serengeti evening enjoying a campfire and sunset views.
Day 6 :
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s natural wonders. Descend into the caldera for a day of exceptional game viewing, where you may spot the Big Five, large herds of wildebeest, and flocks of flamingos at Lake Magadi. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending the rim and returning to Arusha, marking the end of your incredible safari.
