ITINERARY
Day 1 :
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in Arusha, you’ll begin your safari with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). Known for its dense elephant population and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire offers a fantastic introduction to the Tanzanian bush. You’ll spend the day on a game drive exploring the park’s unique ecosystem, home to buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many bird species. During the dry season, the Tarangire River attracts large herds of wildlife, offering incredible viewing opportunities. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. In the evening, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 :
Tarangire - Central Serengeti
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes around 6–7 hours, but the journey itself is part of the experience, with spectacular views and the chance to spot wildlife along the way. You’ll enter the Serengeti through Naabi Hill Gate and begin game driving as soon as you’re inside. Spend the afternoon exploring the Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley), known for its high density of predators, particularly lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Arrive at your camp in the evening for dinner and a night under the stars.
Day 3 :
Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day on game drives exploring more of the Serengeti. Depending on the season and animal movement, your guide will take you to areas with the best wildlife activity. The Serengeti’s ecosystem is home to all of Africa’s iconic animals—lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, and possibly even the elusive leopard. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush or return to camp for a hot lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. With the golden savannah stretching endlessly, every moment in Serengeti feels like a nature documentary in real life.

Day 4 :
Serengeti Balloon Safari & Game Drive to Central Serengeti
Wake up before dawn for an unforgettable hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti. As the sun rises, you’ll soar above the plains, watching wildlife from a bird’s-eye view—elephants, wildebeests, antelope, and predators moving through the morning mist. After landing, you’ll be treated to a champagne breakfast in the bush, making this a true once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Following your balloon adventure, continue with a game drive as you return toward Central Serengeti, stopping for wildlife sightings along the way. Spend the afternoon on one last Serengeti safari before heading back to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 :
Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha (Departure)
Today you leave the Serengeti behind and head toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. After a scenic morning drive, you’ll descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is a unique ecosystem that supports an incredibly dense wildlife population, including lions, elephants, hippos, hyenas, and one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, you’ll ascend to the rim and begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. Drop-off will be at your hotel or the airport for your onward flight.
