ITINERARY
Day 1 :
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha as you head toward Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2.5-hour drive away. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive through a landscape marked by towering baobab trees and the winding Tarangire River. This park is known for its massive elephant herds, especially during the dry season, as well as for sightings of lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your wildlife exploration. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 :
Tarangire – Central Serengeti
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for the Central Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It’s a scenic 6–7 hour drive filled with changing landscapes and wildlife viewing opportunities along the way. Once inside the Serengeti, game drives begin immediately as you head toward the Seronera Valley, known for its year-round abundance of wildlife. The Central Serengeti is especially famous for big cat sightings, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After an exciting afternoon on the plains, you’ll arrive at your lodge or camp in the heart of the Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 :
Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to a full day of exploring the Serengeti, either continuing deeper into Northern Serengeti (if it’s migration season between July and October) or staying within the Central Serengeti for further wildlife encounters. Depending on the season and your interests, you’ll track the Great Wildebeest Migration, search for predator action, or enjoy sightings of elephants, hippos, buffalo, hyenas, and a variety of antelope. The vast open plains, acacia-dotted landscapes, and endless skies provide a classic safari backdrop. After a full day of game drives and a picnic lunch in the bush, return to your camp or lodge for another peaceful evening in the wild.
Day 4 :
Serengeti – Central Serengeti Game Drives
After breakfast, enjoy a slower-paced day exploring the Central Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. This area, rich in resident wildlife, offers excellent opportunities to see large prides of lions, solitary leopards lounging in acacia trees, and herds of buffalo and elephants moving through the savannah. You’ll have time to revisit favorite spots or explore new areas based on wildlife movement and your guide’s expertise. After a relaxed picnic or hot lunch at camp, continue your safari adventure until late afternoon, when you return to your lodge for dinner and your final night in Serengeti.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha (Departure)
Today begins with an early departure from the Serengeti as you make your way to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. After a scenic drive, you’ll descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive on the floor of this natural wildlife haven. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, hippos, and one of the best chances to see the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the crater, you’ll ascend back to the crater rim and begin your return drive to Arusha, arriving in the early evening. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
