Day 1 :
Arusha
Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania’s safari hub, where you can unwind after your journey or explore the town’s vibrant atmosphere. Enjoy views of Mount Meru, lush gardens, and warm hospitality at your hotel. This day is designed to prepare you for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2 :
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse birdlife. The Tarangire River draws animals from across the park, creating excellent game-viewing opportunities. Spot lions, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes, and enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 :
Central Serengeti (Seronera)
Leave Tarangire and journey through the Ngorongoro highlands into the central Serengeti. This region, known as Seronera, is renowned for its resident predators and abundant wildlife throughout the year. Game drives along the Seronera River offer chances to see leopards lounging in acacia trees, lions resting on kopjes, and herds of elephants moving gracefully across the plains. Spend the night in a Serengeti tented camp.
Day 4 :
Northern Serengeti
Travel to the northern Serengeti, where the Great Migration reaches its dramatic peak between July and October. Witness the thrilling Mara River crossings as thousands of wildebeest and zebras brave the crocodile-filled waters, followed closely by predators. This area is rich in wildlife and offers a chance to see action-packed scenes that define the migration. In the evening, return to your camp surrounded by the wilderness.
Day 5 :
Central Serengeti
Head back to the central Serengeti for another full day of exploration. This region’s varied landscapes and permanent water sources ensure excellent wildlife sightings year-round. Search for cheetahs hunting on the open plains, hippos wallowing in pools, and giraffes browsing among the acacia trees. Enjoy a beautiful Serengeti sunset before spending your final night in the park.
Day 6 :
Ngorongoro Crater- Departure
Depart the Serengeti early and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend 600 meters into the caldera for a game drive across its grasslands, swamps, and lake shores. Spot the Big Five, flocks of flamingos at Lake Magadi, and countless other species in this concentrated wildlife haven. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend the rim and return to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable migration safari.
